Danielle Piscatelli - Lead Guide
Danielle
is a native of Boston and spent many years hiking around the mountains of Vermont,
New Hampshire and Maine before relocating to Phoenix. While in Phoenix she focused on her hiking and backpacking
skills exploring many parts of Arizona and Utah, including several trips into Grand Canyon National Park. In addition to
Fatpacking she currently guides for Colorado Mountain Expeditions and Pikes Peak Alpine School both based in Colorado.
In her spare time she serves as Board of Directors Chair of Women’s Wilderness, (an organization dedicated to providing
outdoor opportunities and adventures to women and girls) leads trail crew for Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado, teaches for
Outdoor Stewardship Institute, and additionally she is active with Camber Outdoors as their Volunteer Program Manager
for Colorado.
She is currently certified as a Wilderness Medical Associates
Wilderness First Responder
and is American Heart Association certified in
CPR/AED/BLS
and is a
Leave No Trace Trainer
plus has successfully comleted the
AIARE Avalanche Class.
She is also certified in
Mental Health Wilderness First Aid
and is a
Certified Food Handler
Danielle now lives in Denver, CO and is very excited to explore all that the Rocky Mountains and Centennial State have to offer.
